The Little Mermaid is drawn toward a world she has never lived in. She knows the sea, her family and the shape of the life expected of her—but something beyond the surface keeps calling.
That longing is where her Fool's journey begins. It is not certainty that moves her. It is wonder.
Her choice is brave and dangerous at once. The road changes her. It asks more than she imagined, and it does not deliver the ending she expected. Yet the journey is not meaningless simply because it is difficult.
In Hans Christian Andersen's tale, she does not disappear into sea foam. Her story opens into another possibility—a different path of becoming. The first dream changes, but the journey continues.

What The Fool carries
The Fool is numbered zero: possibility before the path takes shape. It can arrive when you are beginning, experimenting, trusting or stepping outside what is familiar.
It does not promise that every leap will be easy. It asks whether certainty is always necessary before movement.

Recklessness, hesitation, ignoring risk, or being so afraid of looking foolish that you never begin.
