Hi, I’m Jules.

I read tarot, collect stories and ask far too many whys. I bring the tarot, the curiosity and the feeling that a card becomes easier to understand when we discover the story inside it.

And this is Rei.

Rei is an old-school brass-and-bronze robot with a patient eye for patterns. Rei goes looking through myths, origins and images, then helps me bring what we find to life.

Sometimes we come back with an answer. Quite often, we come back with better questions.

Fox and Ferret do not explain cards or read tarot. They are simply themselves—and that is exactly why they belong here.

Fox

Fox is warm, watchful and usually the calmer of the two. You may find Fox curled beside Jules, walking through a scene or lifting a nose toward something new.

Ferret · Natural investigator

Ferret

Ferret is curious in the unmistakable way of ferrets: sniffing, investigating and appearing in corners nobody expected. No speeches. No costumes. Just gentle mischief.

They are animals, not little people.

Their charm comes from natural behaviour—a quiet watch, a curious sniff, a nap in the wrong place—not from pretending to teach, talk or perform.

How Card & Fable works

We begin with a card and ask why: why this symbol, why this meaning, why this story? Jules follows the human thread. Rei searches through the old tales and traditions. Fox and Ferret usually find their way into the picture.

You do not have to know what you are doing yet. We are here at the table with you—looking, wondering and learning one story at a time.
